Nrityalaya presented a dance ballet depicting the ideology of the Indian freedom fighter Mahatma Gandhi.  While it premiered in the U.S., the troupe traveled to India and South Africa in subsequent years to perform and honor Gandhi's legacy and his work towards civil rights and freedom.
